Martha Ess' stacked arches "snowflake"
This is technically an interior motif from the "Elgiva" heart in Martha Ess' book Playing with Picots, which I was lucky enough to win as a door prize at the Lacemakers of Puget Sound's October Lace Day event. I think it makes a nice little snowflake, but I'm also a sucker for concentric arches. I climbed out from the central rosette using a split ring, and was reminded that I never like how that looks - you can always see a tiny kink and the pointy end of the ring is not quite right. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong in my split rings or just pulling tighter than everyone else.

DeleteBees are a lot of fun - I highly recommend them. And homegrown honey is so much better, like homegrown tomatoes.
